 From Emmy Award-winning executive producers Greg Daniels (NBC's "The Office," "King of the Hill") and Michael Schur (NBC's "The Office," "Saturday Night Live"), "Parks and Recreation" is a hilarious ensemble comedy that follows Leslie Knope (Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Amy Poehler, NBC's "Saturday Night Live," "Baby Mama"), a mid-level bureaucrat in the Parks and Recreation Department of Pawnee, Indiana, and her tireless efforts to make her quintessentially American town just a little bit more fun.

In the Pawnee Parks and Recreation Department, Leslie's office mates include Chris Traeger (Rob Lowe, "Brothers and Sisters," "The West Wing"), a health nut who wants to live to be 150 years old, and Tom Haverford (Aziz Ansari, "Human Giant," "Scrubs"), a fashion-obsessed wannabe player whose greatest dream is to own his own nightclub. Leslie's boss, Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman, "Children's Hospital"), hates the very government he works for, and sports one of the most impressive moustaches on primetime television. Rounding out the cast are: Adam Scott ("Friends with Kids," "Party Down") as Leslie's husband and former campaign manager, Ben Wyatt; Rashida Jones ( "Celeste and Jesse Forever," "The Office") as her best friend, Ann; Chris Pratt ("Zero Dark Thirty," "Moneyball") as shoeshine boy extraordinaire Andy Dwyer; and Aubrey Plaza ("Funny People") as Andy's wife, April, who doubles as Ron's sullen assistant. Also starring are Retta ("It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia") as the fun-loving Donna Meagle and Jim O'Heir ("Castle") as the department's punching bag, Jerry Gergich. -NBC

It's a sitcom about public officers... I thought this drama would be boring at first time, but many episodes make me laugh.

Leslie Knope

Amy Poehler plays Leslie Knope, an optimistic and over-achieving mid-level bureaucrat and Deputy Director in the Parks and Recreation Department of Pawnee, Indiana.

She sleeps 2hours a day, and spends all time working. She loves to work.(Also she is an spinster.)

She is always excited thinking  Pawnee's development... 

So many coworkers hate her even her boss who is an anarchist. 

But she works contiuosly...happily.

I want to get her passion. And I think that our country have to hire her!!

She is always cheerful and pure, and she can focus on her work. I envy her personality...

 

Ron Swanson

Ron Swanson is a head of Parks and Recreation department. But he took a position contrary to Leslie Knope's act; unfortunately such his personality likes me.

He is always  cynical and too macho but he is sometimes heartful to his  employees. And he always regret such heartful thing.

He is an anarchist, so he hate the government though he worked many years in there.

"Be a man!"

               

This is a bonus. hahahahahaha!

He shows sometime unexpected aspect.

  Tom Haverford

Tom Haverford is a self-serving and arrogant but sometime cute colleague of Lesli Knope.

I'll recommand you, if you want to be a public officer.

It can be lower your concern about what the public officers do by showing interestingly their work.

And this show isn't violent, lewd so you can enjoy with a light heart.
